Cairo, thx for not naming and shaming me but I’m afraid I have to confess to being the clueless person who wondered why you were writing a porno novel!! now that you have educated on me on graphic novels, I’m going to buy Maus as my starter graphic novel.

Meanwhile, you know I have you on a timeline to become a famous graphic novelist – so very pleased to see your BRILLIANT work on your blog.

I am so glad someone else thinks the P900 is awesome, I’ve managed to convert one other person to the phone. She’s looking for one on eBay. I’ll be having an exhibition in Auckland sometime this year at Morgan Street Gallery, are you still in the area? I’ll let you know about it. Hope all is well with you.

I really enjoyed The World Without Us. Fascinating to consider what will endure (for better, or mostly worse) and what is perishable. Have you read The Road (cormac mccarthy)? Very different genre, but I read them back-to-back and was struck by the same feeling they gave me.

Thanks Tony. Yes I’ve read The Road, it’s one of my favourite books ever, at least in my top 5 list and by far the bleakest book I’ve read. Cormac McCarthy is my favourite writer of non-fiction. I’m reading Climate Wars at the moment, I’ll let you know how that works out for me. Cairo

I have noticed your phone Cairo. But you haven’t yet seen mine, usually buried at the bottom of my handbag. Doesn’t quite rival your clunky thing and mine is nestled in a very stylish mobile phone holder, with a cat design. Friends are prodding me to move to the SlaveBerry, sorry BlackBerry. But I will resist.
You a hedonist?? Didn’t pick it, but I was probably too dazzled by the glitz that you know I love to notice:-)
